Wood Shredding Machines in Poland

Earlier this month, our technical team conducted a routine follow-up on a wood shredding machine we delivered to Poland three years ago. The unit, a heavy-duty double shaft shredder, has been operating in a mid-sized resource recovery company of Poland — where it processes up to 8 tons of mixed wood waste per hour.

But how has it held up?

To find out, we spoke directly with the equipment manager, Paweł Nowak, who has overseen the system since day one.

“It's been three years of continuous service — about six days a week,  and I can honestly say, this shredder has never let us down,” said Paweł. “We've processed everything from broken pallets and wet hardwood to glued board waste. It eats through it all.”

Two Shaft Wood Shredding Machines

The unit in question is the GDB115, a twin-shaft industrial wood shredder with a processing capacity of up to 8 tons per hour. Originally delivered in 2021, the shredder was installed as part of a broader material recycling line, primarily handling:

  • Waste pallets and crates (often with nails)
  • Hardwood and softwood trimmings
  • Plywood, chipboard, and laminated panels

By converting what was once waste into fuel and raw material, the company not only reduces disposal costs but also creates new revenue streams from a circular economy perspective.

As Poland intensifies its push toward renewable energy and sustainable waste handling, intelligent shredding machines like the GDB115 are taking center stage. We're proud to support local recyclers, biofuel producers, and wood processors with tailored equipment that delivers both environmental impact and economic return.
